In the late 1940s through to the late 1950s this company sold Westcraft and Wizard brand scroll saws, drill presses, table saws, lathes, and portable power tools. It is not certain whether they manufactured these tools themselves, but the machines we have seen are not necessarily recognizable as the product of another maker.

- A patent search on "Western Auto" revealed just two patents, both for store furniture. The patents are from 1973 and 1999.
- A correspondent reports that his Wizard electric drill matches one by Portable Electric Tools, Inc. in an April 1960 Popular Science advertisement.
