I bought the saw from Georgia Maple Block Co in April 2000. According to Jeff Mahachik at Northfield the saw was made in 1950. It has an original belt drive set-up. The saw did not have the current foot brake nor does it have the tilt wheel mechansism for the table. The table lockdown bolt must be loosened and the table moved by hand to the desired tilt and then relocked.

Northfield has the complete history for the saw. Unfortunately, I've lost my notes on the conversation with Jeff. The saw ownership is now registered to me in the Northfield files.
