I found this old girl out where I am getting those 40 or so vintage Craftsman stands and tables. I was actually there for a bracket, and he gave me this one, but kept the emblems, which was fine. I call her Big Red due to the fact she now has a
custom rip fence(x 2), a 1.5 to 3 hp motor, a router table extension, on an angle iron stand because shes a big girl. And at present, another 10" saw turning the other direction on the other end.

I called it scrappy at first. Rough, rusted and locked up.

I knew this was a personal keeper build for me, so I used gloss black paint. Here shows the new bearings new paint, and all metal contact surfaces rubbed down with Zest bar soap for the slick factor

Going back together. At this point I had a newer, probably early 90's 10" Craftsman saw that bucked on me, Mod# 315.228390. Most parts are now on a 1945 frame.

This is my BIG RED tonite. Almost finished with upgrades. When done, will have a 63" x 27"+ table with a router attachment on 1 end, a 10" saw in the middle, and a 10" saw cutting in opposite direction on final end. Have to beef up the stand. Lol.
