Comments:
I found the lathe abandoned in a closed and dilapidated foundry. After locating the owners and making an offer I was able to rescue it from the bulldozers. The whole story is here: http://owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=185131&start=15 If anyone has a copy of a Blount owners manual or maintenance instructions I'd very much appreciate any info on the recommended headstock oil (backgear) and bearing grease. Please contact me if you have a copy.

Comments: Ready for work with a new KBAC-29 (1P) VFD. I believe the outboard tool rest was made by Fay and Scott and may not be original to the lathe. All the assorted accessories were found scattered about the foundry.

Comments: Disassembly for the move. The headstock was by far the heaviest part of the lathe. I'd estimate north of 400lbs.

Comments: Moving the bed to the basement through a narrow window proved easier than I thought - the 2 x 12 was key to making the move more efficient.

Comments: Drum controller wiring diagram, Cutler Hammer Size 0, P/N 107558D1. I copied this from the original (left) that was inside the controller enclosure. It was badly stained and barely readable.
