These pictures were sent to us by correspondent Ed Campbell. The patent date tells us that it was made between 1911 and about 1925. The patent was assigned to Luther Bros. of Milwaukee, makers of hand-held grinders. Since the Carborundum name is on a riveted label, it is likely that this grinder was manufactured by Luther on behalf of Carborundum.
