Road trip! On my way to pick up this jointer from ebay find in Pa
Not looking forward to 1297miles one way, but it's the model I wanted.
UPDATE;
I have the machine home after driving 2600 miles in 3 days! I have completely disassembled the jointer and it is in great shape. I'll post the restoration of the jointer. Next step will be inspection, and sandblasting. I had a hell of time getting this monster off the 4x8 trailer, weight is 1150lbs. In the end I took it apart to unload it. It ran great, beds are dead flat and the cutter has no play. Should be an easy restoration. The owners and parts manuals are still online at Northfield's site. I'm a boatbuilder and this should be just the right size for the mahogany speedboats I build.
