Picked this up off Facebook for super cheap, almost stolen, and I want even looking for a wood lathe. Guy sold it to me because he didn't have time to restore it and it hasn't even been used by him. Anyways, it came with no motor and I figured, since I'm mounting it on a mobile workbench that had my radial arm saw, I will just use that motor to power it with a step pulley. Anyways, I took some time to see what was up with it and quite literally, the step pulley was in backwards, the tailstock was assembled incorrectly, and the thrust bearing was incorrectly installed too. It looks like the bearings are good and this should be the easiest return to service ever.
