This electric motor powers a New Zealand made 4" "Dyco" buzzer I was given.

The maker's tag says:
"Crompton Parkinson; Clemsford, England; Patt Nos 432035, 432521; No.SS 574 CF3F; BHP 1/2; RPM 1435; Volts 240/250; Amps 3.2; Phases 1, ~ 50; Custrs Ref. No. (blank); Rating Cont."

This motor dates from the period after the merger of Crompton & Co. with F & A Parkinson in 1927, and before the buy-out by Hawker Siddeley in 1970.

The body is 9 5/8 inches long (over end castings) and 6 1/2 inch in diameter. It has a 5/8" diameter shaft, and weighs in just over 36 1/2lb (including the aluminium pulley).
