My Father acquired this motor along with a large machine used in making optical lenses. The Motor was used to turn a large rock wheel on top of the machine using leather belts. The metal frame has a tag on it with the name Standard Optical Co Geneva NY. The frame also is embossed with the name Carnegie C USA. If anyone has any information on this motor such as date made, who made it,etc I would appreciate hearing from you. My email is mike509@centurytel.net.
