This manufacturer dates back to at least 1902, as Reynolds Electric Co. In 1903, they changed their name to Reynolds Electric Flasher Manufacturing Company, and then changed it back sometime between 1915 and 1917. They were making motors by 1917, using the "Reliance" trade name. The company was still active in 1944, and may have survived into the 1970s but if they did they kept a low profile.
