Comments:
This machine was sitting in a windbreak for at > 20 years. The original wood it was on (4X6) had decayed and the machine had settled 6" into the soil. It had provided valuable habitat for bees and for lichens! Probably owned by the US Air Force and claimed of a surplus list. Original 3phase 15 hp motor and all parts seem to be present. This one has a belt drive motor, unlike the other pictures of those with direct drives. Odd? or just Uncle Sam?

A call to Tannewitz revealed that the original owner was the Packard Motor Company.
