THIS MACHINE IS NOT FOR SALE BECAUSE IT IS NOT MINE, DON'T ASK, AND NO I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE YOUR ITEM "X" FOR IT. THIS IS NOT A SALES FORUM AND I DO NOT HAVE MACHINERY FOR SALE HERE.
This is not my lathe. I have no history on it, except that it came from southwestern NY state, along the NY/PA border line. There are a pair of legs with this lathe but they were buried in the barn and unable to come out for the photo shoot. I searched for a serial # with no luck. I'm pretty sure that this lathe was made by another mfr and J.J.McCabe re-badged it as their own. There is a large collection of tool rests of various dimensions, however there is only one original and at least one broken rest. More photos available from the author.
