Comments:
This machine is part of a work shop that was recently (summer 2004) discovered in the basement of an 1890 office building in St. Louis that had changed ownership. There are several other machines which i'm also posting. Included are a couple of machines (Buffalo Drill Press, JA Eagan lathe, and possibly an old motorized jig saw) which may be original to the building - i don't know. This jointer is small, but well made with a 3 blade cutter head, ball bearing spindle, and cast iron beds set in dovetailed ways - both infeed and outfeed tables. The jointer appears complete and, though grimey, well maintained. It's complete with two extra sets of blades and a sharpening jig. It looks like it's been sitting for 30 years. If you have any questions about it, feel free to email me.
