Comments:
These are a few of the attachments for the lathe, the tool rest mounted table is an in-house creation. The table works well with a sanding disc on the faceplate but is awful hard to rig dust collection to. My brother built a pattern (which we still have) to make this and machined it also. We got awful lucky in that a local guy was casting iron about the time we bought the lathe and cast several parts for use on this lathe. He had barely restarted a nearby foundry when he shut down almost as fast (about 1988). There aren't any others who cast iron within a reasonable distance now.
The tailstock is the cross sliding variety and also revolves 360 degrees.
