Here is something my dad and I just found at my company. We are a Fire Truck Manufacturing plant. It is a Jones Superior Bandsaw with 20" wheels, it has a 20" cutting depth from frame to blade and it can cut 12" from table to top of frame. It takes a 134" Blade. The motor mount has been replaced with a home made bracket and a homemade tensioning adjuster handle. Wheels turn well, but they look like the kind where the blade just rides on the metal and not rubber wheels. There is a part broken, its the part that guides the blade next to the project. Gonna have to try and rebuild this unless we can find a replacement. All in all, a good find I think. We are going to try and make it work. We have milling machines and other metal working tools to build parts. Any suggestions or comments are welcome at chris@firemaster.com.
