I acquired this machine from a friend in exchange for some work. The mortiser was originally sold to American Furniture in Richmond, VA. Northfield discontinued the Chain-Saw Mortiser in 2004 due to a lack of sales. It still remains the best for deep mortising. After the restoration I'll post the new pics. I'm still not sure if I'll keep it or sell it to fund a shop addition.
