I have no back story on this shaper machine. I purch'd it Sep 21, '15 from a fellow in Lockport, NY for $50.00. He didn't have much to say about it either, he had obtained it in the past and finally realized that he wouldn't get to it. Of course, the crop of surface rust has exploded. All of the parts turn, motor, cutter head, etc. Motor worked when he purch'd it. First step in the restoration process is to lose the wooden stand and it has been replaced by a stout and healthy Delta machinery stand. I find the variety of naming for Rodgers machinery rather interesting, as seen below compared to the heading above.
