I came across this machine while working in an old joinery shop, I purchsed this when the joinery closed, it was set up with a small electric motor attached via two sets of "V" pulleys , one of which is still fixed to the end of the shaft . The original Pulley obviously had a flat belt. The setting machine is hand operated , and was set up alongside the filer , in such a was that it could be swung out of the way while the filing was done. The bandsaw blade was supported on two wooden wheels, either end of the bench , which were set up to suit the lenght of blade. This triangle file is drawn across the blade, filing the face & back in one pass, then the lever pushes the blade through to the next tooth.I would appreciate any information on this machine & it's use . thanks
