I know very little about this machine. It was made by The Henry G. Thompson & Son Co. New Haven, Conn. No. 2978
The saw blade is not original to the machine. I installed a piece of hack saw blade because it was convenient and because it fit. I do not know what type of blade came with this machine. The blade can be installed as shown or at 90 degrees. The machine provides a 2 inch depth of cut.
