The firm of Henry G. Thompson & Son was in business by 1892 and had reorganized as the Henry G. Thompson & Son Co. by 1904. They manufactured metalworking machinery, including power hacksaws and bandsaws. The power hacksaws, at least, used the "Milford" name alongside the model number.
