I ran across this grinder at a nearby machine shop that sells Baldors - I was planning to pick up a new 6", 1/3 hp bench grinder. Then I noticed, just a few feet away, this dignified-looking Atlas, designed for 7" wheels, perched on its pedestal, so I asked about it. Turns out the guy had bought it at auction and wanted $150 for it. Certainly not a steal, but at half the price of the Baldor, and with bigger wheels, a more powerful motor, a pedestal, water cup and genuine OWWM credentials, it was a no-brainer for me.
