I stumbled onto this one at a junk and antique store near Joplin, MO. My visit there yesterday defined the term "junk drunk". It was a blast.
I found this aluminum Shopmaster 6" jointer in a trailer on the property, among many junky hand power tools and other stuff.

I didn't find the cutter guard in any obvious location nearby, but I plan to return sometime this summer at which time I may look a little harder. If I find the guard, I might buy it, if it's still there. Seller had it priced at $25.
