Comments:
This is a very early, very large Repulsion Start/Induction Run (R/I) motor. It is 3hp 110/220v, and weighs upwards of 150 pounds. It is believed to have come off a 32" Silver bandsaw that was taken out of service. As brought home, it was wired as 220v and started right up without any problem. The motor was wired through a fused knife switch, as seen in the first photo.
