This fine old band saw weighs in at 1300 pounds. I've always wanted a bandsaw big enough to have to build the building around it. I found this one locally while adding on to my work space. 1951 was a great year. Northfield has been most helpful with any parts I've needed. They also have information available for features on this machine that are not on the current model - i.e. pouring the babbit throat plate and the babbit table angle hand wheel shaft nut.
