Bronze bearing induction motor, 3.2A, 1725rpm.
The table top has a laminated surface.
The base (molded resin) is the same used with the portable bench saw in 1994.
The spindle is 1/2" diameter with 5/16-24 threaded end.
Available 4½" long rubber drum diameters include ¾", 1", 1½", 2" & 3". (The ½" diameter sanding sleeve fits the bare spindle.)
A removable accessory tray holds the rubber drums, compression washers and table inserts.
A 2½" dust collection hook-up is attached to a chamber surrounding the drum area.
I added the 2½" dust collection elbow, for easier connection.
The sander sits on a foam pad, on top of a ho-made construction lumber stand.
The foam pad absorbs a lot of the machine vibration, due to the oscillating motion.
The accessories are located in the drawer.
The vintage lamp is attached to the edge of the stand top.
