Received this from my wife's uncle a few years back but hadn't done anything with it. After looking at the identical drill submitted by Tony Cruz, I decided it was time to try drilling a pocket with it. Someone had torn-up the taper spindle by apparently chucking it up in a standard chuck, but it cleaned up OK and fits securely in the reducer on the drill press. It drills amazingly well and once again proves the creativity of previous generations.
