Among its other products, this company made—or resold—pulley and lock mortisers. The examples we have seen are essentially a line of drill bits geared together with a single shaft coming out the top. The shaft is chucked into a drill press.
The examples we have seen of the sash mortiser has the name cast into the side-plate. An otherwise identical sash mortiser has a plain side-plate with an applied plaque that says, "Built by Olney & Warrin / 66 and 68 Centre Street / New York".
