This is on display in the Rural Machinery Barn at Ferrymead Historic Park, in Christchurch, New Zealand.

From the North Bros catalogue: "Friction feed operates in moving the drill quickly to and from the work.
The feed changes automatically from friction to ratchet the moment the drill begins to cut into the work. The ratchet feed is positive, fixed and without adjustment. Pressure is regulated automatically for drills of all sizes. Freedom from hand feeding gives the operator the advantage of the use of one hand for holding the work.
An automatic throw-off at top and bottom of travel disengages the ratchet feed at the extreme up or down movement of the spindle, preventing jamming."

"Adjustable table can be raised or lowered independently of the bracket by means of a hand feed wheel and screw. Bracket and table can be quickly removed for very high work."

Two speeds; 1/2" chuck; 6 3/4" table.
