North Brothers made "Yankee" push drills, push screwdrivers, and eggbeater drills. They also made a couple of models of benchtop hand-powered drill presses and vises. They were founded in 1895. Before that time, "Yankee" tools were made by American Machine Co.; it is not known if American Machine Co. made any stationary or benchtop tools that would qualify them for a separate listing here. North Bros. was purchased by Stanley in 1946.
