Original post 9/25/13. Got this drill press from a friend that picked it up at a yard sale. Was a bear to disassemble due to the rust, corrosion and reaction of dissimilar metals (the head is aluminum). Need to put the column in a lathe to improve the finish and pitting. Once that is done I'll reassemble it. Came with all parts except the belt guard. Also had a 1/4hp Sunlight motor which I have posted on this site. Painted it machine gray instead of the original OD.

Update 9/29/13 cleaned up the column and reassembled the drill press (photo 5). I'll mount the motor in the future.

Update 10/22/13 motor mounted (photos 1 and 2).
