A correspondent pointed us to a hot-rodder forum post about this arbor press from a previously unknown maker. The original poster gave us permission to reproduce his photos here. His original story on the acquisition of this press:

"My neighbour knocks on my door a while ago, to tell me that his neighbour has a tool I'd be interested in. I go over and talk to the guy (80+ yr old) cleaning out his garage. He points down to an old Arbor Press and asks if I want it because he has not moved it in a few decades. He says I can scrap it or keep it. He can remember having as far back as 1947."
