This fully working Tannewitz was taken out of service and sold for $900. Jumped right on it. Complete with two miter gauges .. a regular and a second for the left tilting blade. This was wired for 'high power' which is 440v 3phase but also had the option for 'low power' 220v 3phase, which my shop has. I mention this because when the local electrician initially set this up he didn't realize it was already wired for 440v . The result was that it would run, but had very little power and slow to come up to speed. Had some very good luck after Ben Rock suggested checking the voltage-took 15 minutes to switch it over to 220v.
This saw has a dedicated 12''dado setup and is set at 90 degrees to a second Tannewitz which runs a regular blade. All things considered, a highly desireable configuration for the type of work I do.
The dead flat table extension, (72'') comes in handy when a level surface is required...table leg glue ups.
