I spotted this in a woolshed (North Island, New Zealand). It looks to have been unused for quite some time. However the height adjustment and crank still turn. It's in remarkably good condition - having been apparently well lubricated before falling out of use, and housed in a working woolshed ever since. It is missing the auto-feed rocker arm and pawl; and the handle for table adjustment (and possibly a horizontal flywheel?).
I offered the farmer $50 (~$US40) and he accepted - better than it going to scrap, he said - so I'm now the proud owner (but it will have to wait it's turn for refurb).
While cleaning the fork (table support) - almost the only part I've tackled so far - I found the number 123 stamped upside down. I doubt this is an actual serial number - more likely some parts were stamped during fitting.
Run of feed = 2½"; run of table = 13"; dia. of spindle = 1 1/8"; crank cog has 34 teeth; pulley driven cog has 34 teeth; spindle cog has 22 teeth; loose and fast pulleys are 8" dia. and 2¼" wide. Table is 8" diameter and has a yoke beneath.
