Found at a yard sale. Rodgers was a Los Angeles company so there are a lot of Rodgers machines in circulation in the area. This one lacks the swivel base mentioned in the price lists and brochures, so it may be pre-1955 or merely a simplified model.

I've wanted to get a chop saw for cutting ferrous metals for awhile but wanted to avoid something with a universal motor, so I've had my eye out. I've seen a few of the Rodgers units on the Los Angeles Craigslist for about $100. I gave only $30 for this one and the seller was glad to see it go.
