I no longer own this grinder. Original POST - 26 Jan 2013.

Found on local C'list for not much money. I like the looks and realized that I had seen one on owwm.org. The grinder is badged as being mfg by Fairchild Camera and Instrument Company, Burlington VT - not a listed mfg here on vintagemachinery.org; Not sure if Manning, Bowman and Co. made this, or bought from Fairchild ? I also have posted pictures of yet a different badged mfg for the same grinder.

Comments on OWWM.org are that this is a 'weak' motor, and mine certainly is - it takes a while to spin up to speed, and I can stop the wheel cold by grinding on a popsickle stick with moderate pressure! I intend to put on leather stopping wheels for carving tools, so it shold work fine for that. Otherwise, just a cool looking little grinder.
