This saw was inherited from my Great Uncle who passed away in 1975. He purchased the saw new. The saw has since been converted from an 8" to a 10" saw. This involved replacing the cast iron top and saw arbor housing.

The year was based on the following:
~The model number never apeared in any Craftsman catalog, the original cast iron top measured 20-inches wide by 22-inches long. The Craftsman "100" 8-inch table saw appeared in the 1951 Craftsman catalog and then did not reappear until the 1956 Craftsman catalog.
~The Craftsman Logo on the table saw is a match for the early 1950's tag that was used during this period.
~This style stand only appeared in the 1951 and 1952 Craftsman catalog.
~The Powr-Panl was available in the Craftsman catalog from 1952.
