Picked this one up about a year ago from a PO that I went to look at another table saw he had, a Craftsman "100", he was overwhelmed with the fact that he was unable to get any of the machines he had to work properly. So he decided to part with both saws for $20.00 and then headed to Home Depot. The 29901 was missing most of the internal guts such as the tilt shaft, table locking bolt and handle, arbor pulley, arbor nut/washer, assorted e-clips, wave washers and bolts. Over the months I located the missing parts through various sources. I replaced the arbor bearings and cleaned it up and repainted to a light bluish/gray. The face plate was in a bad way with dents, I straightened it and then took a DA with 320 paper to it. The modified fence came with the saw, made by someone in the past with the wood end that has a wingnut for tightening, the "Non-Micro Wingnut Fence Adjuster", it actually works pretty well and is square to the table and blade. The Delta Combo stand is being used for mobility purposes, it is for another project I have going. The saw passes the nickle test when running. It is now ready to last another 47+ years. I'll probably add a switch to it, but would also like to see it gone. I am running out of room.
