Bought this at a flea market 10 years ago for $5 to get my young son interested in woodworking. He did a few projects with it, but it's not been used since he went off to college. It was missing the orange plastic guard/hold-down when I got it, but fortunately that part is (or at least was 10 years ago) still available from Dremel. Takes a 3" pin end blade.

There's a power take-off on the side for a flexible shaft tool, which I don't have. All in all this saw is a decent tool for light hobby use.

I'm guessing the manufacture date as 1973 based on the serial number. The tag says Dremel division of Emerson Electric, don't know if Emerson had purchased all of Dremel at that time, or just this line of scrollsaws.
