This saw was aquired by my place of work in the mid 90's. This was used in the foundry to cut the gates off small and medium size aluminum casting. The original table was removed and a 1/2 thick slab of steel plate replaced it. This is also mounted on a raised platform made by my company as the lower wheel is below the base of the saw.

This also had and a vfd to control blade speed and add a braking option to it. Lightning zapped the vfd and the machine was taken out of service due to replacement cost of the vfd.

The saw now sits in the back warehouse of the shop alone in a corner waiting for someone to rescue, or me to purchase.

At one time this was owned by the AirForce as it has a Govt. Property tag stating such.
