This is a later model Canedy-Otto No.1 post drill. This drill was made after 1909. This drill has a ball bearing between the top of the spindle and the bottom of the down-feed screw. This drill also has the traditional S shaped spokes in the fly-wheel. There is a patent assigned to Canedy-Otto for the ball bearing in the drill [ patent number 935452, patented Sept. 28, 1909.
