Although this machine is not particularly old, it has been on my mind for years. I purchased it today from a fellow near Yoder, CO, who has acres of rusting farm equipment outdoors, and almost as much stuff indoors. I stopped by on the way home from an unprofitable visit to an estate auction, and after wandering through his wonderland, I settled on just this one item. It is in good shape, covered by a protective coat of oily grime. It seems to be complete and I don't feel any wobble in the shaft. The purchase included a foot switch, which I need to go back and retrieve. (Which is too bad, right? Lots of other stuff was calling my name on today's visit.) I paid $125, which I think is fair, considering the good condition. The only defect I find is a couple of minor drill holes in the table, and a small crack in the side of the base. It will fit in nicely with its kinfolk, waiting in line for some attention.

The model tag is in the poorest condition of any part of the DP.

I'm guessing the motor is not original. Dunno.
