Recently purchased on Ebay no history is known,however the tag lists Wisconsin Electric Company as the manufacturer and that means it was manufactured in 1929 or before. As for the color it seems to be the only paint on the machine I don't know what color Dumore painted these.(It kind of looks like it belongs in a soda fountain) The motor is the same as other Dumore products with the exception of the adjustable thrust bearing on the top bearing. It runs at 17,000 RPM and drills tiny holes with ease. In the mean time it works well and is great addition to my little shop. Would be interested in hearing from anyone who has more information on these early Dumore drill press's.
