There I was minding my own business when my local arn dealer asked me if i wanted to see a machine that would make an Oliver look sick. Ok says I and we walk over to his trailer. Strapped to it were one each Oliver 384, Mummert-Dixon 425 and Mummert-Dixon 450. The O does in fact look scrawny next to either M-D. The 384 is not the top of the line from Oliver. on the other hand the 425 and 450 aren't either. The 450 does weigh in at a slim 275 pounds though. This one probably has an extra 200 pounds of paint on it. Everything's in good working order. It's missing the two bolts used as valves in the kerosene tank. The nut holding the leftside wheel is frozen. The motor is 55c continuous and the wiring is fabric covered.
