drill press i got from work over 20 years ago for $3.64 as scrap. I thought it was a model 103.24501, but on closer inspection its a model 113.24501. the motor is a reliance and not original. The shipyard where i work added the switch.I used it as it was for a while then let a high school group use it until they got their own. I plan to restore it as much as possible.

quill and spindle mostly apart. quill feed stop collar came from a drill at work and the depth gage from a helpful member here. Also note the motor mount, quill lock and head locks. I took one of the feed handles off to test it. see next picture.

feed handle partly cleaned with a wire wheel. I can't chrome them, but perhaps i'll clean them up, polish them and put a clear finish on them.

not a arch of shame, but ..well i wish it wasn't like this. I can't fix this for now, but might get it welded up later and refinish it.
