Bought June/2012 in Mocksville, NC from a man that acquired it from the Baker Furniture Plant. It looks like that is where it was first put into service. The company keep the 3-phase motor. so that allows me to go single phase with a new power plant. there are bearings on this one with oil caps. I came about this machine the way a lot of folks do in that the second owner had a chance to buy when the company relocated closer to Charlotte with hopes to restore it but that didn't work out so I am pleased to bring it back on-line. Just need to time to do so. There are no plates or badges on the machine so dating it is not possible for me. The size motor required in single phase would be 2hp?, combined with a wide belt. Anyone who has a similar machine and can offer advise is welcomed.
