Purchased on K-Bid on line auction and had to pick up on my wifes birthday in 2011. She was not happy. It was a great buy. I have needed a drill press for years and keep looking and pricing at Fleet Farm, Menards and Sears. Also checking at auctions. Could never bring myself to buy a poor quality one just to have one. Now I have way more than I need! Press was last used in a furniture shop that is updating to computer systems. The spindle thrust bearings were noisy, pitted races top and bottom, I think from being full of sawdust in a humid old barn! Replaced them for about $40. This has a brass tag on the column ( The E L Essley Machenery Co, Chicago ), maybe a dealer tag or the original owner???
