I bought this machine yesterday. It has been sitting outdoors at the old Green River Ranch in Conifer, CO, for decades. The PO refers to it as yard art. His plan was to sell it (for a slightly high price, as I see it) or scrap it. He is a mover, and his estimate is that the saw is close to 2000#. He has no other history, though I am going to work on that. I paid his price rather than see it go to the smelter. I need to replace the wooden wheel rims and try to loosen things up, but the wheels and the motor turn, so I am encouraged. The motor is 3 phase 220 v. 5 HP, but I feel certain that it was originally energized by a flat belt. I have a lot of research to do. Plus, I need to get it home, which will be its own adventure.
