Comments:
This saw was found in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. A barn on an old farm, once housed a wood shop, that was disbanded in the 1930s. The saw sat untouched for 80 years and was miraculously preserved in this protected enviornment. No broken or missing parts. Restoration consisted of gentle cleaning to reveal hand painted decoration underneath followed by a coat of wax. Metal parts were cleaned and lubricated. The table is made of cherry and measures 40"x55". Maximum cutting hight is 14". Historically significant band saw in original condition.
