I bought this DP from my brother-in-law. He and my sister-in-law have retired and are moving from Florida to the Mountains of North Carolina( Lucky dogs). He told me a few years ago that he didn't use the DP much and would probably sell it someday, so I told him to let me know first when he was ready to get rid of it.
He bought the DP about 10 to 15 yrs. ago from an auto parts recycler (back then we called them junkyards)that was closing shop.
This was a user DP not a part of his junk, and it was bought new.
I assume it's a 1976 model because the owners manual has a 4/76 printed date on it.
It works great and nothing's missing, but it has been painted blue column, chuck and all and the table is orange( so you can't miss it I guess).
It'll have to wait awhile but will get cleaned and painted.** Painted it Hammered Dark Bronze- New Pulley bearings from Accurate and new quill return spring from Sears parts direct.
