I bought this from someone who had bought it to fix up, but never got around to it. When I bought it, some chipmunk was probably quite distressed: there was about a quart of birdseed inside it. I simply cleaned it, made a table of the same (small) size as the original, with the fence held in by a wedge, similar to but not quite the same as the original, adjusted it, and added a plywood leaf guard. At some point I will do more, but it works quite well as is.
